A pilot program connecting UCLA with ten partner institutions across Greater China, Korea, Singapore, and Thailand. We deliver monthly webinars, cross-institution mentorship, clinical exchange opportunities, and a members portal with learning resources and discussion board.
The International Exchange Platform is a UCLA-led global initiative that connects medical students across East Asia and the United States through shared learning in integrative medicine. Built on the strengths of the UCLA Center for East-West Medicine and the DGSOM Global Health Program, the platform brings together partner universities to promote cross-cultural understanding, academic collaboration, and experiential training in both Western biomedicine and East Asian medical traditions.
Through expert-led webinars, dual mentorship, student-driven engagement, and a dedicated digital portal, the program fosters a collaborative community of emerging global health and integrative medicine leaders. This international network aims to cultivate culturally competent future clinicians equipped to advance equitable, integrative healthcare worldwide.
